BIOMILQ

BIOMILQ’s mission is to close the nutritional gap between infant feeding options by developing a nutritionally superior alternative to bovine-based infant formula. Comprising roughly 5% of global calorie consumption and roughly 10% of global protein consumption, dairy is a key component of human diet from birth. Unfortunately, dairy production has a significant effect on climate change due to emissions of greenhouse gases.

With breakthrough mammary biotechnology, BIOMILQ is targeting infant nutrition by attempting to reproduce breastmilk. In 2022, BIOMILQ developed the world’s most productive proprietary mammary cell bank by completing an IRB-approved research study, where over 300 women donated their breast milk. The company has developed multiple optimized cell lines for production and validated their system’s unmatched potential.
