Heirloom

Heirloom builds Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology that rapidly accelerates the natural processes that enable limestone to absorb CO₂ from the air from a timespan of years to days. Founded in 2020 by the world’s leading experts in CO₂ removal and serial deep-tech entrepreneurs, Heirloom’s facilities offer the quickest pathway to permanent, low-cost CO₂ removal at a billion-ton scale. Heirloom has established itself as a world leader in developing and deploying DAC technologies. The company recently opened North America’s first commercial DAC facility, in Tracy, CA, and has been selected for the US Department of Energy’s Project Cypress DAC Hub in Louisiana, which is eligible for up to $600 million in government funding. Heirloom has sold removal credits to some of the world’s largest buyers of carbon removal, including Microsoft, Stripe, Meta, Shopify, JPMorgan, Mckinsey, and others.
