Catalyst A Team Approach: Breakthrough Energy Catalyst Partners

Bringing the public and private sectors together to scale up critical climate technologies

Breakthrough Energy is proud to be working with our growing community of Catalyst partners. Through these collaborative public-private partnerships, Catalyst will invest in the critical climate technologies that will become the foundation of our global net-zero economy.

Earlier this year, we announced that seven of the world’s leading corporations committed to be the first private-sector anchor partners for Catalyst, including: American Airlines, ArcelorMittal, Bank of America, The BlackRock Foundation, Boston Consulting Group, General Motors, and Microsoft. Citi and IKEA Foundation also intend to become Catalyst anchor partners, and State Farm has also joined as the first scaling partner, helping to provide further financial support and industry-specific insights to Catalyst.

Catalyst also has large-scale partnerships with the European Commission and European Investment Bank, United States Department of Energy, and the UK government. These partnerships will be crucial to reducing emissions, creating lasting jobs, and reaching our 2050 climate goals.
