Breakthrough Energy conducted four regional surveys in October 2023 with Hart Research Associates to assess voters’ support for potential placement Direct Air Capture (DAC) hubs in their home region, as well as DAC’s role in helping reduce global emissions. The topline takeaway is that respondents have limited awareness about DAC hubs. There is a plurality of support for DAC when they are provided with more information.
