Amber Jones joined the Breakthrough Energy team in April 2021. She is the Operations Manager for the U.S. Policy and Advocacy (USPA) Team, supporting the VP of USPA and managing the team’s internal functions.

Prior to joining Breakthrough Energy, Amber spent the past four years at The Obama Foundation as an Associate on the Operations team focusing on the daily operations of the Foundation’s DC spaces. Her responsibilities also included leading the Operations team’s security and emergency functions and working on the Foundation’s COVID-19 response. Amber previously worked in various roles at Mckinsey and Company, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Amber is from Baltimore, MD. She enjoys traveling the world with her family, cooking new recipes, and listening to podcasts.
