Christie joined Gates Ventures/Breakthrough Energy in 2018. In her role as Senior Program Manager, she supports Mike Boots (EVP), leads a team of Executive Business Administrators, and oversees the operation of Bill’s DC office.

Prior to joining Gates Ventures and Breakthrough Energy, Christie was an Executive Assistant to two Partners at WilmerHale. Before that, she supported the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Patient Care Services at Boston Children’s Hospital as Senior Executive Assistant. In conjunction with supporting the CNO and SVP, Christie managed their fast-paced office. Earlier in her career, she was a Product Manager, overseeing a suite of brands, in the Fashion Industry. In this role, she was responsible for taking creations through the full process of concept to in-store.

Christie holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Business Administration and B.A in French from Penn State University. Her passions for travel, fashion, and culture have led her to live in several large cities on the East and West Coast. Home will always be Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but she currently resides in Maryland with her two daughters, Sloane and Bailey.
