Prior to joining Breakthrough Energy, Emerson worked as an Investment Banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. She was most recently a part of the Center for Carbon Transition, a group that provides clients the expertise required to navigate the challenges of transitioning to a low-carbon future.

Emerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Materials & Technology from North Carolina State University. She currently lives in San Diego with her husband. While not at work, Emerson can be found baking for friends or exploring the beach.
