Javier is an Associate on the Catalyst team, where he helps originate and execute project financings of clean energy technologies.

Before joining Breakthrough Energy, Javier honed his expertise at Citibank, where he worked on the Loans and Leveraged Finance Team. During his tenure, he collaborated with a diverse array of clients to develop strategic plans for acquisitions financings.

Javier holds a Master’s in Engineering from University College London and a Master´s in Finance from IE Business School, exemplifying his commitment to academic excellence. Outside the office, Javier can be found enjoying the outdoors with family and friends and is a soccer and racquet sports enthusiast.
