Prior to Breakthrough Energy, Jordyn was a Senior Executive Business Administrator at Gates Ventures, Bill Gates’s private office, where she supported the CEO and General Counsel as well as the Executive Director of Breakthrough Energy Ventures.

During her four years at Gates Ventures, Jordyn played an integral role in the creation of Breakthrough Energy Ventures, led the opening of Gates Ventures’ first Washington, D.C., office, and managed relationships with key stakeholders.

Prior to joining Gates Ventures, Jordyn spent five years in the maritime and aviation industry supporting C-suite leaders. Her responsibilities also included management of operations and communications for high-profile projects for Royal Dutch Shell and Transocean.

In her current role at Breakthrough Energy, Jordyn provides administrative support to the Vice President of Breakthrough Energy Sciences and other Senior Advisors to Bill Gates.

Jordyn enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and running the occasional half marathon.
