Lauren is an Operations Manager partnering with and supporting the Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Breakthrough Energy, Lauren spent four years working at the British Embassy in Washington, DC. There she led the senior visits team, responsible for the planning and delivery of all visits to Washington by Ministers, senior government officials, former Prime Ministers, and members of the Royal Family. Prior to that, Lauren worked at the White House in the Office of Scheduling and Advance for the Obama Administration. She traveled around the world in advance of President Obama, managing his press coverage and logistics. One of her favorite trips included traveling to Midway Atoll.

Lauren holds B.A. in Political Science and M.P.S. in Legislative Affairs both from the George Washington University.
