Megan is responsible for managing Breakthrough Energy’s contracts processes and growing the corporate governance programs.

She brings 15 years of compliance experience to Breakthrough Energy. Most recently, she served as the Director of Compliance and Human Resources at the Democratic Attorneys General Association, where she revamped the compliance and governance programs for its political and non-profit entities. Before that, Megan was the Deputy Comptroller and Human Resources Manager at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and was a political compliance consultant for Senate, House, and PAC clients.

Megan was born and raised in Iowa but has lived in the DC metro area since graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Political Science. She loves live music, national parks, her pandemic puppy Charlie, and puzzling. (Some COVID hobbies stick.)
