At Breakthrough Energy, Royal works on the team responsible for providing technical support to the organization.

Royal has more than five years of experience troubleshooting and implementing technology in native and non-native English-speaking environments within the fields of satellite communications and education. He is certified in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Operations Specialist, HDI Desktop Support Technician, Microsoft Office 365 Specialist, Microsoft Technology Associate, Apple, Dell, HP, and Lenovo Hardware Technician.

A proud Hokie, Royal is a graduate of Virginia Tech. He, along with all four of his siblings are named after different shades of blue and his family still calls him “Royalty.” After graduating with his Masters, he lived and worked in Japan for five years often volunteering for cleanup and rehabilitation after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake.
