Saad Chaudhry joined the Breakthrough Energy team in August 2020. He is an Executive Business Administrator supporting a number of our directors across the team.

Prior to Breakthrough Energy, he worked at World Learning, an international non-profit that works to build a better future for all people through exchange, development, and education programs. He began his career coordinating U.S. Department of State-funded exchange programs, and his most recent position was that of supporting the CEO directly as her Executive Assistant. Prior to working at World Learning, he was an assistant language teacher in Kagawa, Japan with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. He taught English as a Second Language at three different schools to over 1,000 students and has helped train teachers at the primary and secondary school levels to strengthen their teaching abilities and improve education systems.

Saad holds a B.A. degree in Secondary Education in English (with teaching certification) from Eastern Michigan University. Saad is originally from Lahore, Pakistan and grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In his spare time, you can find him performing improv in the DC area.
