Prior to joining the BE team, Tapiwa was an Accounting Professional at Under Armour, a sports equipment company. She assisted in the day-to-day accounting reconciliations for the Americas amongst other finance and accounting responsibilities.

Before Under Armour, Tapiwa served as an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant at T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm. Before immersing herself in the investment world, she worked as a financial assistant for the nonprofit NAACP.

Tapiwa was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Silver Spring, Maryland with her family. She studied Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing and watching soccer, and trying out new restaurants.
