Taylor joined Breakthrough Energy in April 2021 and supports the global Breakthrough Energy Fellows program. She brings experience in international strategic partnership building and program development to her role in the Fellowship’s recruitment and selection process.
Taylor’s prior experience was centered on connecting talented, innovative individuals to one another across the globe. In her previous role at World Learning, she developed U.S. government exchange programs that brought together leaders from the U.S. and abroad to advance global change. She fostered partnerships with U.S. government stakeholders, high-level professionals, international organizations, and private sector partners, including Microsoft, Google, Intel, and NASA, to implement thought-leading global programs. Prior to World Learning, Taylor worked at the National Democratic Institute, where she supported programs advancing democracy and civic engagement in Central and Eastern Europe. She is deeply dedicated to programs that give innovators access to the resources and relationships to create critical global change.
Taylor holds a B.A. degree in International Relations, English, and Spanish from The University of Alabama. Her small hometown is near Birmingham, Alabama. Now based in Washington, DC, Taylor enjoys making art with her hands, reading anything within reach, and visiting DC’s many beautiful views by bike.
