Yumarie Ortiz Lopez is an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in operational support. She joined the Breakthrough Energy team in February 2022 as an Executive Business Administrator supporting the Catalyst team.

Prior to joining Breakthrough Energy, Yumarie spent three years at Macquarie Capital in the Energy and Infrastructure divisions, and most recently as part of the Financial Institutions Group. Her responsibilities included direct support to a large group of executives, along with project tracking and business development coordination. Prior to Macquarie, she spent eleven years at Miami International University of Art and Design where she was responsible for managing marketing, recruitment, virtual teams and international operations in 21 countries.

Yumarie holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities from the University of Puerto Rico. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her family, as well as practicing bouldering.
