C-Zero

Company Description

C-Zero is commercializing a proprietary process for transforming natural gas into clean hydrogen and a solid carbon co-product to unlock the zero-emission energy embedded in natural gas. More than $100 billion of commodity hydrogen is produced annually, but most of the production comes from steam methane reforming, which co-produces large quantities of CO2. With C-Zero’s technology, there is potential to decarbonize hydrogen generation for major (existing and emerging) segments of the agricultural, chemical, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
