Ecocem is a pioneer and global technology leader in materials efficiency in all categories of cementitious materials and Europe’s leading producer of high-performance low carbon cement technology.

We operate three laboratories in France employing almost thirty scientists and technicians (67% PhDs), supported by an advisory network of 20 leading international specialists on materials science.

ACT, our scalable breakthrough technology, can reduce the global carbon footprint of the traditional cement manufacturing process by up to 70% without significant additional cost. ACT has recently obtained an ETA (European Technical Assessment ) from EOTA (European Organisation for Technical Assessment). This independent assessment will enable the introduction of ACT commercially throughout Europe.

Our objective is to provide competitive, scalable low carbon solutions to decarbonise cement on a 1.5°C, Paris-compliant trajectory. From Le Grand Paris Express to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, the athletes’ village in Paris and the UK’s high-speed railway HS2, Ecocem has achieved a cumulative reduction to date of over 18 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions. It would take over 800 million trees to capture this amount of CO₂ in a year.

We are now scaling our manufacturing capacity to deliver fully commercialized ACT to the markets in which we operate by 2026.
