Company Description

Boston Metal is an innovative climate technology company working to decarbonize steelmaking and advance sustainable, high-value metals production. Steelmaking accounts for approximately 10% of global CO2 emissions and Boston Metal is commercializing a scalable technology to address the rapidly increasing demand for green steel. The company is transforming how metals are made with Molten Oxide Electrolysis (MOE), a patented tonnage metals technology platform powered by electricity, which will provide the industry with a direct, cost-effective and green solution for the production of steel and high-value metals from a variety of iron ore grades and feedstocks.​
